Hey All,

Made a bit of progress this evening, allbeit not that much its still progress!

I have started creating some query sets for the SQL database, you can see in the screenshot below which ones have been done. These are all live values so if anything changed a refresh would update the values, Graeme are you around tomorrow to have a chat about moving this forward more now i am happier with some of the SQL?

Once we get the basic functionality working I will speak with Simon to get the code moved into the work he has done so far with the UI.

Well this sounds like heaps of fun!  ;D

As I'm new to the forum and following a previous conversation on UR, this topic seemed most appropriate...

Is there a post/place with the total data sets involved in the GUI?

I'll need to catch up then I can contribute some idea's (system & graphics)

welcome aboard mate!!

Big congrats to Matt for getting his UI stuff up and running.  We are both working from the same code, using the same environment, so can make real progress now.  IF anyone is working on this please drop us a line.  Its way better to get setup properly (although a bit of a ball ache) as it makes it easier to discuss issues and divide up the work.

next step is to start to enter stuff in the DB! So polish off those INSERT statements :-)

no problem but it was on PC so doesn't apply to you (OSX10.xx?)... Matt is probably best to write up a description for windows.  I can talk you through getting setup on Skype and we can document as we go for MAC?

Yep agreed Grafne, I have already done this (this is what I did in the first instance) so shouldn't be too hard :)

also grabbed this.. It looks like we might need to use a bit of AJAX/jquery to get the temperature to update without refreshing

Matt- this might be worth a look really good jQuery/java tutorial.

CIO - I think there is a reference on the repository thread.  You will need to talk to Simon to get an account setup I think.  If you are going to be making changes to the code we need to organise how we are going to manage changes, it will be chaos if we all start making independent changes at this stage.
