Hi Guy's
« on: March 24, 2014, 10:35:27 PM »
Hi... miserable old git joining the group.  I am almost at the point of buying an Arduino Mega 2560 to automate the LED's on my marine system and to monitor pH, ORP, EC and several temps.

But luckily I found this group just in time as I have had a Raspberry Pi since they first came out.  I got that to monitor the temperature and humidity on several of my bug enclosures and also use it as a media server and to send out emails if the temp goes too high or low on any of the sensors.  I must admit that the temp humidity sensing in python isnt too good as the gipo routines are somewhat hit and miss causing lock ups once or twice a month.

I was going to get the Arduino as I could not suss out how to control PWM in to the constant current LED drivers but spotted that you are intending to do that here through the PCA9685 module so thought I would join and have a look.

I live down in Devon.
